WOLF PACK – Season 1 – Episodes 6 & 7 – (limited spoilers)
Arson Investigator Kristin Ramsey
After doing mushrooms at Tia’s party, Baron (Chase Liefeld) transforms into a wolf-like humanoid. Kristin Ramsey (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is the first to find him in this state, and tells him she can help him, but then Garrett Briggs (Rodrigo Santoro) shows up and wounds him with a silver bullet. Baron is not killed, but briefly becomes human again.
Ramsay explains to Briggs that she lost a husband and child in that fire eighteen years ago, then takes him to see a cache of bodies stashed in an elevator shaft on an abandoned construction site. (Briggs does not know that Ramsey first located the bodies with the help of a security guard, whom she added to the pile after killing him with two expertly delivered blows.) Ramsey does not kill Briggs, and he manages to “convince” her not to tell anyone else about the corpse stash so she can remain in charge of the investigation. Briggs estimates there are eighteen bodies in the pile. Continue reading →
Angus (Ryan Adams) discovers that the crystalline substance that dissolved Brice’s glove in Episode Two is something odd. “Whatever hit us is made of a completely unknown element,” he explains. “This is a basic element. Think high school chemistry. The periodic table. Except this element is not on the periodic table. It’s made of something that hasn’t been discovered on Earth, which means it probably doesn’t exist on Earth. That means it’s found somewhere else.” There are not many ways to fit a new stable element into the periodic table. Angus hints that the stuff may have been artificially created, very possibly by extraterrestrials. Continue reading →

Eighteen years ago, in the first of the fires, Park Ranger Garrett Briggs (Rodrigo Santoro) found two orphaned wolf cubs which he adopted after the cubs transformed into apparently human babies. In 2023, the “Briggs twins”, having matured into high school seniors Luna (Chloe Rose Robertson) and Harlan (Tyler Lawrence Gray), have their senses amplified by a second fire that also brings more werewolf activity. Might some Van Helsing-like werewolf hunter be flushing out his (or her) quarry by starting fires? And just how many werewolves roam the area around Grey Lakes High School? Continue reading →
