Lindsay<\/em> told Debra Yeo of The Toronto Star<\/a> that the show was inspired by stories his brothers (a pipefitter and a carpenter) told at family dinners and get-togethers. “They would have us all in stitches,”<\/em> he said. “I knew there was a concept there.”<\/em> THE TRADES airs on Crave TV<\/a> in Canada, and has been renewed for a second season.
