Elgin<\/strong> and the Kimono Woman<\/p><\/div>\n

The ambulance that returned Tabitha to The Town came with an ultrasound device, and Fatima<\/strong> (Pegah Ghafoori<\/a>) is persuaded to allow Kristi<\/strong> (Chloe Van Landschoot<\/a>), to scan for any problems with the pregnancy. Elgin<\/b> (Nathan D Simmons<\/a>) takes a picture of Fatima as she is leaving Colony House. At the clinic, Kristi determines that Fatima is not pregnant, and back at Colony House, Elgin sees the Komono Woman<\/a> (Shuoxin Fu<\/a>) appear alongside Fatima in the photo he took of her. The Kimono Woman then appears behind Elgin before vanishing from the room and the photo. <\/p>\n

Fatima<\/strong> learns she is not pregnant.<\/p><\/div>\n

Dale<\/strong> (Cliff Saunders<\/a>) steps inside of a farway (transporter?) tree and materializes inside the concrete wall<\/a> of the Motel’s empty swimming pool. One possible explanation would be that the Boy in White<\/strong> (Vox Smith<\/a>) operates those trees and wasn’t around to set the controls. In that case, why was the device not switched off? Another possibility is that the tree reads the mind of the person entering and takes them where they (consciously or subconsciously) want to go, and Dale’s lack of an intended destination made the tree send him to a random destination. <\/p>\n

Donna<\/strong> (Elizabeth Saunders<\/a>) continues to discourage any attempts to leave the Town or investigate its nature. She tells Tabitha: “Don’t try to be a hero. Go spend time with your kids, because you’re lucky to be here still.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Donna builds a cairn in front of the spot where Dale died. She mentions that Dale lived at Colony House for slightly less than two years. Dale’s first appearance on the show was in Episode 7. Donna continues to discourage any attempts to leave the Town or investigate its nature. She tells Tabitha: “Don’t try to be a hero. Go spend time with your kids, because you’re lucky to be here still.”<\/p><\/div>\n

At Tabitha’s suggestion, Jade<\/strong> (David Alpay<\/a>) enlists Ethan’s help in figuring out the meaning of the notes in the bottles on the bottle trees. Each note has a four-digit sequence of numbers on it. The notes from one tree are printed, and those from the other tree are handwritten. The numbers repeat and some of them are reversed. One interesting idea<\/a> put forward (but not mentioned on the show) is that the numbers might represent musical notes.<\/p>\n

Jade’s drawing of the wards<\/a> surrounding the nearby abandoned settlement makes Tabitha remember a recurring dream she had as a child. She remembers three red rocks in her dream that were arranged in a circle, and in a flashback, we see young Tabitha hiding behind one of the rocks and screaming in terror at something we are not shown. “When I was a little girl i would have the same nightmare over and over again,” <\/em>she says. “It wasn’t just Miranda. I saw this place too, but I just didn’t know it.”<\/em> When Jade saw those red rocks, he encountered the man with a spike through his right eye<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Young Tabitha<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

Victor<\/strong> (Scott McCord<\/a>) decides to go into the tunnels under The Town to retrieve Jasper<\/strong>, the ventriloquist’s dummy that once belonged to Christopher<\/strong> (Thom Payne<\/a>), the guy who might have been responsible for killing everybody but Victor in The Town some forty years ago. His father Henry<\/strong> (Robert Joy<\/a>) insists on coming along. According to Victor, Jasper knows the true story of what happened, and Victor wants to make Jasper tell that story, and “save everybody”. When the two men go into the tunnels, Henry is surprised to find a scarf that once belonged to Miranda, and in his excitement, accidentally wakes up two of the Creatures<\/a>, who seem uncharacteristically friendly. One of the Creatures (played by Beth Rogers<\/em>) suggests that if Victor keeps coming down there to visit, they might decide to keep him there.<\/p>\n

\"Three<\/a>

Three “ghoulish children” (played by Isobel Del Degan<\/a>, Altyn Hood<\/em>, and William Cheverie<\/em>) pay a visit to Tabitha<\/p><\/div>\n

Jim<\/strong> (Eion Bailey<\/a>), who has been getting phone calls from his deceased son Thomas<\/a>, gets into an argument with Tabitha and from it we learn that their marriage was close to breaking up when they arrived in The Town<\/em>, and in fact they had been separated for about a year. It sounds like Jim blames his wife for the death of their child. After the shouting match, Tabitha is visited by three of the ghoulish children<\/em> who seem pleased to see her but say only one word: “Anghkooey<\/em>“. Ethan<\/strong> (Simon Webster<\/a>) cannot see the other children. <\/p>\n
