After being cooped up for weeks with a sprained ankle, Max<\/strong> (Vanessa Morgan<\/a>) is looking for something to do. Ricky<\/strong> (Fletcher Donovan<\/a>) and his amateur theatre group are on their way to Oregon for a “sacred, silent retreat” in a yurt. Cole<\/strong> and his fellow detectives are attending the “Annual Police and Law Enforcement Conference and Expo”, which is fictional but sounds a lot like the Annual Summit and Policing Trade Show<\/a> run by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Max’s alibi is that she orders takeaway frequently, and takes selfies with all the deliveries.<\/p><\/div>\n

She visits her father George<\/strong> (Jason Priestley<\/a>) in prison, but he has a time-sensitive poker game in Cell Block C<\/em> designed to fleece a “hedge fund sleazebag” who is getting out of prison in a few days. George remembers that Max once pulled three cons, “The Bolivian Boondoggle”, “The Golden Goose Gambit”, and “The Cuckoo’s Nest” in one twenty-four hour period.<\/p>\n
