Avan Jogia (Roman Mercer* in 13 episodes) stars as Oliver in 56 DAYS, an eight-episode series created by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher, based on Catherine Ryan Howard‘s 2021 novel of the same name. Oliver meets Ciara (Dove Cameron) in a supermarket and the pair fall in love. Fifty-six days later, an unidentified body is found in Oliver’s apartment making him the prime suspect. Filmed in Montreal, 56 DAYS will have a 2026 premiere on Amazon.
Jogia also has an unspecified role in Kane Parsons‘ soon-to-be-released folk horror feature THE BACKROOMS, based upon the creepypasta of the same name. After her patient disappears into another dimension, a therapist (Renate Reinsve) is forced to brave the unknown to bring him back alive. The film expands on Parsons’ 22-episode found-footage webseries “Backrooms“. Filming completed in Vancouver last August.

Kim Coates as Bruegel, leader of the Silk Stockings gang, in Season 2 of “The Walking Dead: Dead City“. AMC has renewed the series for a third season, with Seth Hoffman replacing Eli Jorné as showrunner.
Kim Coates (Billy McGrath* in 13 episodes) is Julian in the Kinnane brothers’ upcoming romantic comedy SOLO MIO. (All eight of the Kinnane Brothers worked on the film.) Matt (Kevin James) is left at the altar by his fiancée, and goes on his planned honeymoon across Italy alone, hoping to rediscover a passion for life. In his travels he meets Gia (Nicole Grimaudo) who proves to him that true love is more than a fantasy. SOLO MIO will be in US theatres 6 February 2026.

Jesse Moss in “The Boy Who Vanished”
Jesse Moss (Deputy Norm Waters* in 12 episodes) is Michael Connor, brother of Hayley Reese, in the Lifetime thriller THE BOY WHO VANISHED. Hayley (Tegan Moss) and her husband Richard (Matthew Kevin Anderson) are surprised to be notified by the police that their son Jack (Aiden Howard), who was believed abducted ten years previously, has been found alive. Hayley suspects the boy might not be who he says he is, but for reasons of her own, is reluctant to have his DNA analysed. Tegan and Jesse Moss are brother and sister in real life. Directed by Christie Will Wolf, THE BOY WHO VANISHED can be streamed on Lifetime.

Sharon Taylor as Tonya in “Pie To Die For: A Hannah Swenson Mystery“, the twelfth film in the series, based on the Joanne Fluke novel “Banana Cream Pie Murder“.
Sharon Taylor (Sophia Moon* in 8 episodes) is Anja in HARMONIA, a mystery set in the 1980s and inspired by real events from the life of writer/director Guy Nattiv’s grandmother. The film follows Rita (Carrie Coon) as she severs family ties to join the Harmonia commune and follow its charismatic leader (Lily James). Her daughters, Ella (Bella Ramsay) and Jo (Odessa Young) try to persuade her to return home, but the commune begins to draw them into its sphere as well. A 2026 release date is expected.

Vincent D’Onofrio in “Lift”
Vincent D’Onofrio (Reverend Dan* in 8 episodes) is Denton, inside man and master of disguise, in LIFT, a heist comedy directed by F Gary Gray and written by Daniel Kunka. International thief Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart) leads a crew made up of Denton, hacker Mi-Sun (Kim Yoon-Ji), engineer Luke (Viveik Kalra), safecracker Magnus (Billy Magunssen), and aircraft pilot Camila (Úrsula Corberó) as they try to steal a Van Gogh painting in London while staging a fake kidnapping in Venice, all as part of a plot to steal another entirely different thing. LIFT can be streamed on NETFLIX.
D’Onofrio is also Vincent “Chin” Gigante, boss of the Genovese crime family, in 24 episodes of GODFATHER OF HARLEM. The series serves as prequel to Ridley Scott’s 2007 film “American Gangster”, and can be streamed on HULU.

Carmel Amit (Daphne Holt* in 5 episodes) is John’s ex girlfriend Breena, and Veena Sood (Roman’s mother Nadine in 3 episodes) is Linda in ADVENTURES IN LOVE AND BIRDING, an adaptation of Sarah T Dubb‘s novel, “Birding with Benefits”. John (Andrew W Walker) is an avid birder on weekends, and his girlfriend Breena recently left him for Lazlo (Jason Tremblay), but he and Breena still run into one another in the course of birding. When school teacher Celeste’s best friend Eva (Mapuana Makia) agrees to stand in as John’s partner in a birding competition but can’t make it, Celeste (Rachel Boston) volunteers to be her replacement, and romance ensues.
