Tim Rozon in ‘Protectors of the Land’
Tim Rozon (Luke Roman in 30 Episodes) is Craig Winston in the action thriller PROTECTORS OF THE LAND. When his wife Rachel (Tanaya Beatty) is brutally murdered, Winston joins with his brother-in-law Wayne Strongbow (Nathaniel Arcand) to do battle against the Mexican drug cartel invading their small Alaskan town. They lure the cartel onto sacred grounds, and Wayne taps the power of animal spirits that have protected the land for generations. PROTECTORS OF THE LAND was filmed in British Columbia, and can be streamed on TUBI.
Rozon is also Jason Greenwood in Alexandre Carriรจre’s upcoming mystery DR. MASON MILLER. The titular character (Simon Pegg) is an expert in helping people forget what they can’t live with. While relaxing at a luxury resort, his experiences become surreal as buried trauma surfaces and he reconnects with a lost love, and it becomes clear to Dr. Miller that nothing is as it seems. Maurice Dean Wint as Detective Troy Harper and Rachel MacMillan as Kara in ‘Crossover Immortal Sins’
Maurice Dean Wint (August Ripley in 30 Eps) is Sawyer and Patrick Kwok-Choon (Duncan in “A House is Not a Home”) is Wu, in the western thriller GOLD-BLOODED. After a robbery goes bad, one of the thieves is captured by two US Marshals who learn from him where the stolen gold is hidden, and that knowledge turns the Marshals against each other. Directed by Matt Campagne and Andre Rehal, the film scored eight nominations at the 2026 Wild Bunch Film Festival, including ‘Best Noir Western Film’. (Winners will be announced on 25 October.)
Wint is also Sheriff Frank Garber in Randall Okita’s upcoming sci-fi horror feature MENACE. Written by Thom Eberhardt, the film follows a research student (Isabel May), who has a psychotic breakdown and is remanded to the custody of her aunt and uncle in a small town. Soon after, people start disappearing. That, along with other unusual events, leaves Isabel with a tenuous grip on reality. IFC films and Shudder have distribution rights.

Sarah Levy as Aunt Ida in ‘The Monkey’
Sarah Levy (Susan Ireland in 29 Eps) is marathon runner Jane Cooper in RUN. Adapted from Barrie Levitt Knee‘s 2015 novel “Plain Jane”, the film follows Cooper as she struggles to finish the Garden State Marathon while dealing with the collapse of her marriage. In the book, Jane has less than a week to explain to her family about a secret pact she made years ago with her best friend Gaby (played by Phillipa Soo in the film). Levitt Knee posted on Instagram: “Over 10 years ago I self-published my book Plain Jane. The premise came from a dream I had…I spent 8 years working to make a movie based on my book. This month RUN is filming with an extremely talented cast, director, and crew.” No release date has yet been announced.
Variety reports that Levy will guest star on Grey’s Anatomy, and that her character Corrie’s official description reads: โWitty and a bit of an oddball, Corrie is very pregnant. She has a lot of anxiety about giving birth to her second child after the traumatic experience she had with her first child.โ

Tennille Read in the Lifetime movie ‘Taken In Plain Sight’
Tennille Read (Megan Donovan in 16 Eps) is Wendy in 3 episodes of DOC, a series developed by Barbie Klingman that stars Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, Chief of Internal Medicine at a fictional Minneapolis hospital. Dr. Larsen resumes her medical career despite a traumatic brain injury that caused her to lose all memory of the last eight years. The show is based on the Italian series “Doc: Nelle tue mani”, which in turn was inspired by the true story of Dr. Pierdante Piccioni. The first two seasons of DOC can be streamed on Netflix. Season Three is on HULU.

Willow Kean in ‘The King Tide’
Willow Kean (Elevator Technician in “White Wedding”) is Ruth Penny, sister of Calvin Penny, in the six-episode miniseries BELOW, in which a sea monster terrorizes the (fictional) isolated Newfoundland fishing village of Snook’s Arm. Josh Hartnett stars as Calvin, a widowed father with three children. It’s Calvin and Ruth who lead efforts to protect the town. Series creator Entertainment Weekly: “I always knew I wanted to make something here in Newfoundland. Preferably something big. And something strange. Something that taps into the terrifying ruggedness and isolation of the place. But also something that captures the overwhelming warmth and the eccentric brilliance of the people here.” Filmed in Pouch Cove, St John’s, and Brigus South, N.L., BELOW can be streamed on Netflix starting 8 October.

Hannah Cheesman as Kate Columbo in the 2023 comedy ‘Hey, Viktor!’
Hannah Cheesman (Madison in 2 Eps) is furniture restorer Christine in I COME HOME. Christine, Alexander (Carlos Gonzalez-Vio), and Stephane (Ryan Ali) are a throuple, and pregnant Christine is invited to the wedding of her younger sister (Jordan Hayes). Stephane comes along to help her cope with her disapproving parents, and things get complex when Alex decides to show up at the wedding as well. Screenwriter Andreas Vatiliotou told Liam Lacy of Original Cin “…the throuple within our film is bisexual and so it’s two men and a woman, and so I think sexuality plays a role in their relationship. The men in this film are with the woman and with the men…I know, in some cases of a throuple or polyamorous relationship, perhaps the woman is with each man, and the men aren’t together. In this case, all parties are sort of involved.” I COME HOME premiered at the 2026 Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival in Toronto.

Alex Ozerov-Meyer as Martin in ‘The Voices of Our Mother’
Alex Ozerov-Meyer (Thornton Guiness in 6 Episodes) is Avi Glickman in THE BETRAYERS. Michael Aronov stars as Baruch Kotler, a former Soviet dissident who is now a disgraced Israeli politician in exile in Yalta with his mistress Leora (Kaelen Ohm). The pair’s idyllic retreat is disrupted when Kotler unexpectedly bumps into his former friend Chaim Tankilevitch (Simon McBurney), the man who denounced him to the KGB four decades ago. Written and directed by David Bermozgis who adapted his own 2014 novel for the screen, THE BETRAYERS had its world premiere at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.
Ozerov-Meyer is also Martin, twin brother of William, in Mark O’Brien’s horror/mystery THE VOICES OF OUR MOTHER. William (Mark O’Brien), Martin, and their sister Therese (Carolina Bartczak) reunite to visit their estranged mother (Sheila McCarthy) who has either developed dementia or is possessed by a demon. (They must decide which.) THE VOICES OF OUR MOTHER can be streamed on AMC+.

Luke runs The Roman Agency which specializes in selling “metaphysically engaged” properties. His partner, Susan Ireland, is pyrokinetic, a talent that turns out to be surprisingly useful, and Agent August Ripley develops devices to contain and/or destroy unpleasant apparitions. Thirty episodes of the show aired on the SyFy Channel between July 2021 and June 2025. All thirty can be streamed on HULU.
